My Role
2018 January to date. : CEO and Founder Tivwane Money Solution Limited Company • Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of M&E plan/system and management of the project’s beneficiary database/project information systems. • Support the project in developing data collection tools and securing means of verification • Support and facilitate the implementation of project data quality audits and checks • Support the facilitation of project reflection meetings and sense-making sessions, • Supporting the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of operations research and pilot projects, • Responsible for documenting project lessons learnt, and other knowledge management products • Champion the development and submission of evidence-based abstracts for publishing and conferences, • Support the training of project staff and partners in relation to the application of monitoring and evaluation approaches, mechanisms and tools developed. • Responsible for analyzing data from project surveys and evaluation for future programming, documentation and publication purpose. • Support the establishment and maintenance of mechanisms for capturing, sharing and applying M&E findings, information, lessons learned, best practices and human impact stories among CARE and partner staff. • Participate in meetings of reflections, sense-making sessions, design and planning impact measures of the program at national, provincial, district and community levels.
Company Overview
Tivwane Money Solutions (hereinafter “Tivwane”) is Zambian owned a private, limited by share. Tivwane was incorporated in 2018 and it’s core business is providing financial and business management services to rural agri-businesses and small scale farmers. Tivwane currently has 4 branches in (1.Lusaka Brach Lusaka district, 2. Petauke branch eastern province, 3. Lundazi Branch Eastern province of Zambia, 4. Katete branch eastern province of Zambia) all managed from the companies head office in Lusaka. The company offers majorly credit lending to smallholder farmers and agro-inputs traders in their areas of operations. Our Story: Tivwane money solution provide credit facility that enable small scale farmers to purchase inputs to improve horticulture farming in Zambia. Vegetables rank third in the share of the urban households’ monthly food budget in nearly all major urban areas of Zambia. With access to credit to purchase better quality inputs and set up irrigation equipment’s and improved access to extension support, farmers yields will increase per hectare. Vegetable have a high nutritional value that makes them an important part of household diet. Tivwane Money Solution agriculture loan contribute to local and national food security by sustainably increasing the production of fresh vegetables in the targeted districts, which is achieved by (1) boosting horticulture yields by at least 25% and (2) reducing supply chain losses, while simultaneously ensuring that the vegetables are safe to consume. At the same time, our services provides a pathway out of poverty for Zambian smallholder farmers. By enabling access to credit farmers will be able to get hybrid seeds, inputs on credit, mechanization services, and marketing services to improve their income from horticulture production. Higher productivity and improved quality will boost their income which they can in turn use to graduate to expand their farming, while also having enough money for diversified home food consumption and other household expenses such as school fees.
